Revival Health & Wellness Clinic offers in-office laser treatments for hair removal, tattoo removal, acne reduction, and skin resurfacing. Treatments are performed by Crea Rose, FNP-BC using the Spectrum laser system after a clinical consultation that confirms suitability, sets expectations, and identifies any safety concerns specific to your skin and history.
Aesthetic laser is a medical procedure. We treat it that way — with patch tests, candor about the number of sessions required, and a low threshold to decline treatment if it isn’t the right fit.

TREATMENTS OFFERED
Laser hair removal
Laser hair removal targets the pigment in hair follicles to reduce hair regrowth on the face, underarms, bikini area, legs, back, and chest. The treatment works best on hair with darker pigment; very light, gray, or white hair responds poorly because there is little pigment for the laser to target.
Hair removal is a series, not a single visit. Most patients need 6–10 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart for the face and 6–8 weeks apart for the body. Maintenance sessions once or twice a year may be needed afterward, since hormonal changes can re-activate dormant follicles.
Tattoo removal
Laser tattoo removal breaks up tattoo pigment so the body’s immune system can clear it gradually. Older, faded, and black-ink tattoos generally respond best. Bright colors (especially yellow, light green, light blue) and white ink are stubborn or do not respond meaningfully to most lasers.
Removal typically requires 6–12 sessions spaced at least 6–8 weeks apart, with full results visible 6–12 months after the final session.
Acne reduction
Laser-based acne treatment reduces inflammation, kills the bacteria implicated in inflammatory acne, and over time can reduce the appearance of mild acne scarring. It works best as part of an overall acne plan that includes appropriate topical and (when indicated) oral therapy.

SKIN RESURFACING
Skin resurfacing addresses fine lines, sun damage, age spots, uneven tone, and superficial scarring. Different intensities are available depending on goals and acceptable downtime — gentler “no-downtime” treatments need a series of visits, while more aggressive resurfacing produces more dramatic results from fewer sessions but with several days of redness or peeling.

CONSULTATION AND PATCH TEST
Every patient — new or returning, regardless of treatment requested — starts with a consultation. We discuss:
- Your goals and what is realistically achievable
- Your skin type and history of pigmentation changes
- Recent sun exposure or planned travel
- Current medications (some increase photosensitivity)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding status
- History of cold sores, keloid scars, or autoimmune skin conditions
For first-time treatments and for higher-energy procedures, we may perform a small test patch 24–48 hours before the full session to confirm your skin tolerates the planned settings.
WHO IS A CANDIDATE
Laser treatments are appropriate for most adults in good general health. Best candidates have:
- Stable skin (not actively sunburned, recently tanned, or freshly tan-bedded)
- Realistic expectations about session count and outcomes
- A willingness to follow pre- and post-treatment instructions (sun avoidance, sunscreen)
- No absolute contraindications
RISKS AND SIDE EFFECTS
Common short-term effects include redness, mild swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation lasting hours to a day or two. Patients with darker skin may be more prone to temporary darkening or lightening of treated areas, which usually resolves over weeks to months.
We will not perform laser treatment in patients with active skin infections, recent isotretinoin use, certain photosensitizing medications, or who are pregnant or breastfeeding (out of caution rather than known harm).
